How the Research Engine Works
Scores and rankings are generated by a rules-based quantitative engine using: (1) Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) valuation with scenario analysis, (2) cross-sectional factor z-scoring against the S&P 500 universe, (3) market regime detection via VIX, SPY 200-day MA, P/E ratio, and credit spreads. Signals labeled 'High Signal', 'Monitor', or 'Below Threshold' reflect the engine's quantitative output — they are descriptors, not directives.
